Reminder: Research ICD code changing on 10/1/15

Please remember that on October 1st, 2015, the ICD codes are changing from ICD-9 to ICD-10 codes. This will effect research. Starting 10/1/15, when you enter the research diagnosis, please use z00.6 (that is a ‘z’ followed by two zeroes, a decimal (.) point and the number ‘6’). The old code of V70.7 will no longer be used. To ensure we continue to keep high compliance for billing and release of information, please be sure to use the new ICD-!0 research diagnosis code of z00.6. If you have any questions, please contact the Epic Research team: EpicResearch@musc.edu.

SlicerDicer for Research Delayed Until October 5th

As a result of the change over in electronic learning systems from the old CATTS system to the new MyQuest system, research SlicerDicer training will be delayed until 10/5/2015. Research study team members will be able to make requests for training and get scheduled for classes beginning mid-September. We realize that this is an inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we await the start-up of the new and very user friendly MyQuest learning system. For questions related to SlicerDicer for research, please contact the Epic Research Trainer Paul Powers @ powersp@musc.edu.
